I’m very happy to release this trailer for my short film “The imagining tear”! 💧

“The imagining tear” a dreamlike visual narrative inspired by mythological creation tales, early Y2K video game cutscenes and theoretical litterature of reality and imagination I have been reading lately. Maybe mostly the work of Federico Campagna. In no way a visual theoretical essay, this short is my way of exploring the short film medium, and is the result of hours spent hand crafting every 3d-model, texture and animation while learning the medium. It’s been a fantastic experience and I am so greatfull to Konstnärsnämnden here in Sweden for supporting this project!

The full release is still in the future but are planned to go out to animation film festivals and screenings next year. it turns out that there are MANY parts with making a semi-professional film I never had foreseen and even though I am making a self produced silent short there are more people to involve to make it into what it should be.

For this trailer I had help from the fantastic Coco Magnusson that did the cutting, grading and music.
